We are unsure as to the origins of this mask but believe it was created for the selling market in the style of perhaps the Urhobo or Bassa peoples. The mask, known as a belly mask, showcases two heads coming from one body. The mask measures 34.5 inches tall and weighs 8 pounds. There is damage to the left hand, some discoloration to the wood and some cracking, scuffing and wear and tear throughout – please inspect photos.
