We are unsure as to the origins of this head-crest mask but it looks like it may have some influence from the Cameroon region. The piece has the head of a male figure with scarification striations down the face and vegetable fiber raffia surrounding the bottom. It measures 11 inches tall and weighs 4 pounds. There is a large crack down the side of the head and some scuffing and wear and tear throughout – please inspect photos. Stand not included but one can be added for an additional charge.
