This statue was carved in the style of the Dan people of Ivory Coast/Liberia. The statue features a standing female figure with a child resting on her back. she has beautiful carved striations throughout her coiffure and body. She measures 19 inches tall and weighs 5.5 pounds. There is some wood deterioration throughout the piece and some cracks on the arm and hand. Please inspect photos carefully.
