This statue was carved in the style of the Mbole people of DRC. The statue features a male figure with a two-toned body split down the middle. The figure measures 32.5 inches tall, 3475 inches including custom base, and weighs 10 pounds. There is a deep crack through the right arm and some cracking, scuffing and wear and tear throughout – please inspect photos carefully.

About the Mbole People
The Mbole are known principally for their figures which tend to be characterized by their geometric features, elongated emaciated bodies enlarged heads with heart-shaped faces, protruding mouths and crown-like coiffures. Yellow and white pigments are usually applied to the whole statue.
