About the Zigua People
The Zigua people are located in the North-Eastern Region of Tanzania. Their artistic tradition is more realistic than that of the other tribes living in that part of Tanzania. The Zigua are known to craft clay figures and containers and large wooden figures (usually with splayed legs and weathered patina). The figures are typically used for initiations and sometimes represent ancestors or spirits. You must be logged in to post a review.
