We are not quite sure as to the origins of this container but believe it to have been created in Sub-Saharan Africa. This vessel looks to be a milk jug or something similar. This is 16 inches tall and weighs 2 pound. There is some cracking, previous tribal repairs and imperfections on this piece. Please inspect photos carefully.
