“The Ligbi people of Côte d’Ivoire belong to the larger Senoufo group. They have a population of about 18–28 thousand and live in the north-eastern area of Côte d’Ivoire, and north-western Ghana.
Ligbi (Lig) is also the name of a major language group used by the larger Mande tribe grouping.
The vast majority of Ligbi people identify as Muslim.”
