We are unsure as to the origins of this piece but believe it to be West African. Trays like this were used for divination purposes typically by a diviner or holy person. The platter measures 5 inches tall, 20.5 inches wide and weighs 7.5 pounds. There is some cracking, chipping and wear and tear throughout. Please inspect photos.
