We are not exactly sure as to the origins of this piece but believe it to be based on Burkina Faso artwork due to the style of the bull carved on the front. The lid to the container showcases a Janus head with perhaps Lobi features. The container measures 39 inches tall and weighs 17.5 pounds. There is some chipping around the rim of the lid and wear and tear throughout – please inspect photos.
