Unusual African Statue w Articulated Arms 43″ – African Art

We are unsure as to the origins of this statue but believe it to be Sub-Saharan African. The statue showcases a female figure with articulated arms. The lower half of her body is carved like stool. The statue measures 43 inches tall and weighs 21 pounds. There are holes on the head where hair should be inserted but all of the hair is missing. Some cracking, scuffing and wear and tear throughout – please inspect photos.
