Zoomorphic African Mask with Rear-Facing Horns 12″ – African Art

We are unsure as to the origins of this mask but believe it to be Sub-Saharan African. The mask depicts an animal of some sort, though it is not quite clear which kind. At first glance, it looks like a dog, but upon closer inspection, the animal appears to have rear facing horns or antlers. The mask measures 12 inches tall, 28 inches in length, and weighs 10 pounds. There is a repair to the right horn and the tip of the horn is chipped. Some cracking, scuffing and wear and tear throughout – please inspect photos.
